コバルト文庫「君に届け」シリーズ (Kobaruto Bunko "Kimi ni Todoke" Shirīzu, meaning "Cobalt Paperback 'Kimi ni Todoke' Series") is the first light novel series for Kimi ni Todoke. Sixteen volumes written by Kanae Shimokawa (下川 香苗 Shimokawa Kanae) were released between 2007 and 2015 under Shueisha's Cobalt imprint.
Based on the summaries, it is assumed that this series is a novelization of manga volumes 1-23. However, any differences from the manga are unknown.

- The last scene of the anime's first opening, where Sawako and Kazehaya approach each other at the window, is based on the cover illustration of the first volumes of this series.[1]
